Developing Personal Projects with Barbara Levine (SOLD OUT)
Saturday, February 21, 2015 / 12 - 4 PM
Saturday, February 28, 2015 / 12 - 4 PM

Have you ever had an idea or started an art project and then it just stalls or stops or you can't find a form for your idea?

Or don't know practical or technical options for doing what you want?

Developing Personal Projects  focuses on sharing experiences, strategies, sources, and influences that help  develop and sustain individual personal projects.  It is geared towards artists, photographers, writers, and family archivists / story tellers.

Two sessions: February 21st and 28, 12-4. At Cherryhurst House in Houston's Montrose neighborhood.  Limited to 8 people.  Free of charge. Easy parking.

Each participant should bring work-in-progress to the workshop - the bare beginnings of a project, half-finished piece or idea they feel leads to another project they wish to start.

In session one, each participant will describe their idea or project and articulate what the obstacles or questions are that have put their project on the back burner. Through structured group discussion, each participant will leave with a next step to do for the following session. In the second session, participants will show or speak to their progress and receive tips and strategies to complete their projects.
